We build technology that makes it easier to experience Norwegian nature with respect, safety and freedom.

Our story

Fricamp was born from a simple frustration: it shouldn't be so hard to find legal and beautiful overnight spots for RVs or tents in Norway. We who love outdoor life know that the Right to Roam gives us fantastic opportunities, but the rules can be difficult to interpret in practice.

That's why we built an app that combines advanced AI with public geodata from NVDB, Kartverket, Nobil and Artsdatabanken. The result is an intelligent tool that gives you confidence in the field.

Fricamp is developed by Takle Consulting based in Norway.

By creating a profile, Fricamp becomes your active tool for managing nature and your own experiences.

Personal Archive

Save "gems" visible only to you. Organize saved routes and GPX files by region for quick access.

Community Contributions

Add reviews and photos. Help others know if a place is crowded or if the view is worth it.

Scout Verification

As a user, you can approve AI points or suggest removal of places that violate the 150-meter rule.

Condition Reports

Report conditions with tags like "Gate closed", "Lots of trash" or "Quiet and peaceful". Visible for 7 days.
